The Child Passenger Safety Resources initiative supports Florida’s child passenger safety and occupant protection partners through scholarships, stipends, communication, outreach, and educational resources. Scholarships are available for community advocates seeking certification as Child Passenger Safety technicians (CPSTs), as well as to nationally certified CPSTs pursuing recertification, instructor candidacy, or technician proxy status. Stipends are available to Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructors (CPST-Is) for teaching the CPST Certification Training Course in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) priority counties.
