The Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Resources Team conducts a monthly CPS Technician Orientation to support individuals pursuing CPS tech certification and to provide ongoing professional development for current technicians.
Scholarship applicants seeking a new technician certification must attend at least one orientation session prior to receiving scholarship approval. Designed to bridge the gap between training and real-world application, these sessions help participants understand the certification process, scholarship requirements, available resources, and the impact CPSTs have in keeping children safe.
The orientation is also open to those who are interested in learning about CPS safety and program resources available.
