Stipends are available for nationally certified child passenger safety instructors (CPST-Is) and instructor candidates who teach:
- CPST certification and recertification courses in FDOT priority counties (see table)
- Safe Travel for All Children enrichment courses
These stipends help offset instructional expenses and support the delivery of high-quality child passenger safety education across Florida.
Eligibility:
- You are a Florida Resident
- You are teaching on your own time (PTO is acceptable)
- Your course is located in a FDOT priority county
- You charge no local fee
- You maintain a 5:1 student/instructor ratio
