Specialty Traffic Safety Item Distribution Guidelines
To comply with federal regulations, community partners must follow these procedures when distributing specialty traffic safety items, including bicycle helmets, bicycle lights, armbands, and wristbands:

Only give multiple items to one person if the items serve distinct functions.
At a presentation or training, have attendees fill in the signature form(s) alongside your event sign in.
If children are the item recipients, submit a form with each child’s first name and a signature from the instructor verifying this as true and correct.
These items are available statewide while supplies last.
