UFTI-T2 Center works closely with researchers around the nation to transfer knowledge to stakeholders who may benefit from the completed work. UFTI-T2 is an expert at disseminating transportation research to professionals in the field and advocacy groups through training programs, safety resource centers, and transportation research dissemination.
Training programs are developed based on research and implemented guidelines, protocols, local, state and national policy and regulations. UFTI-T2 trainings offer students with career advancement opportunities. Each training program developed engages students to provide a transfer of knowledgeand the ability to apply those skills to enhance and improve transportation networks on a local, state, and national level.
Educational materials are critical to safety campaigns and available for Florida residents through UFTI-T2 and the Safety Resource Centers. UFTI-T2 Center distributes thousands of educational and safety items including high visibility retro-reflective gear, bicycle helmets, car seats, and activity books to the Florida public each year.
UFTI-T2 Center partners with experts to host transportation symposiums, statewide advocacy teammeetings and to develop a library of three decades of transportation research reports. Current FDOT research reports are available through a partnership with FDOT and UFTI-T2 Center.
